Meet the Founder Behind
CLA360™

Felix Frimpong - Founder of CLA360

A mission shaped by experience, built with purpose, and driven by a deep commitment
to Africa's global mobility.

My Story

I was born and raised in Ghana, where ambition often outpaced opportunity. During my time studying Computer Science at the University of Ghana, I became the friend everyone turned to when they wanted to apply to universities abroad. I helped them choose programs, complete applications, prepare documents, and even rehearse for visa interviews.

That experience opened my eyes to something profound:

Africa has brilliant students, but the journey to study abroad is far too complicated, unpredictable, and unfair.

My Own Visa Journey

In 2019, I made the decision to pursue my master's degree in the United States. My first student visa application was denied.

It was painful. Confusing. Humbling.

And it showed me firsthand how strong, qualified African students can still be denied because of poor guidance, inconsistent documentation, or unclear intent.

A few months later, I tried again — properly prepared, better advised, and more confident. This time, I was approved.

That moment changed my life. And it planted the seed for what would later become CLA360™.

Life in the U.S. & Serving International Students

I completed my graduate studies at the University of Saint Francis in Joliet, Illinois. While there, I worked as a student employee in the International Programs Office, supporting DSOs, admissions teams, and international students from many countries.

I wasn't just observing the system — I was inside it:

Helping prospective students gather documents

Guiding admitted students through next steps

Supporting DSOs with compliance and communication

Understanding the complexities behind visas, SEVIS, and institutional risk

It gave me a unique dual perspective:

What African students experience and what universities need.

Corporate Career — and a Calling I Couldn't Ignore

After graduation, I spent four years at Northwestern Mutual, a Fortune 100 company, working in data analytics and engineering. I refined my skills in systems, automation, data integrity, and large-scale architecture — all of which now power the technology behind CLA360™.

But every year, one feeling kept growing:

A calling to fix the broken pathway for African students.

I saw the same patterns repeating:

Talented students failing to navigate the process

Universities overwhelmed with unverifiable applications

Visa denials destroying admission pipelines

Good students being overlooked because the system lacked trust

I knew I had the experience — and the responsibility — to build a solution.

So I did something difficult:

I resigned from my stable career to build CLA360™ full-time.

Not because it was easy. But because it was necessary.

Why I Built CLA360™

CLA360™ exists for a simple reason:

Africa does not have a shortage of applicants. It has a shortage of verified, visa-ready, well-prepared applicants.

I lived it. I helped others through it. I worked inside the university systems that struggle with it.

And today, I'm building the infrastructure to solve it.

CLA360™ combines:

Visa Readiness Score

Credential verification from the source

Visa readiness support and AI interview preparation

A recruitment model focused on quality, not volume

A trusted ecosystem connecting students and universities with confidence

This is not just a company for me.

It is the mission of my life.

My Vision

I believe Africa is rising — and its students deserve pathways that are clear, fair, and trusted.

I believe universities want to recruit from Africa, but they need reliability, verification, and visa confidence.

And I believe technology — when built with cultural understanding and empathy — can transform global mobility.

CLA360™ is my contribution to that future.

A bridge between ambition and opportunity.

A system rooted in lived experience, powered by data, and strengthened by purpose.
